Vickie feels blessed to be attending "The Way Out Is In" retreat led by Plum Village Monastics, at Durham College, in Oshawa, Ontario. She will have a display of "A Lotus on Fire" books available for sale.

Join Vickie and her editor and mentor Susan L. Scott, as they Vickie reveals her transformative journey from a moment of awakening with Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh, reflecting and journalling about it, then finding the inspiration and courage to finally publish her spiritual memoir, A Lotus on Fire.

Vickie is honoured to join her Mentor Tim Scorer (who also wrote the Foreword to her book) in conversation and readings from A Lotus on Fire.

A day of meditation, gentle yoga, music and poetry entered around trees, tuning into their wisdom, as we sense our oneness with the earth and all of creation.

Vickie is excited to be attending this 3 Day retreat at Samish Island, Washington. She will be reading from A Lotus on Fire, as well as teaching a Yoga Nidra practice inspired by her book.

Join Vickie for a book reading from "A Lotus on Fire" focused on readings and practices from "Happy Teachers Will Change the World," a retreat Vickie attended with Thich Nhat Hanh, articulating his vision for integrating universal practices of mindful attention into the classroom.
